The Los Angeles Clippers are now drawing interest for DeAndre Jordan from the Toronto Raptors.

The rumors just don’t stop! Now, among all the other teams, the Toronto Raptors have reportedly expressed interest in the Los Angeles Clippers’ DeAndre Jordan.

Jordan has been centered around several trade rumors for the last few weeks, including ones surrounding the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Washington Wizards. Now, Toronto, another Eastern Conference team, has come into the fold.

This is definitely unexpected since this is the first we’re hearing about Toronto testing the trade market. The Clippers seem adamant that they receive either young prospects or a good first round pick in exchange for any player during this trade deadline. It’s also unclear what third team would actually get involved with this deal.

Despite missing time and being constantly surrounded by trade rumors, DeAndre has had a solid season for the Clippers. Through his 47 games, he’s averaging 11.5 points, 14.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists.

If the Clippers are unable to move DeAndre prior to today’s trade deadline, he will have the option to pick up his player option or to test the free agency market. Several NBA insiders believe this summer will have a dry market, so it would possibly make sense for DeAndre to opt into the last year of his contract and wait for the summer of 2019 to hit free agency.
