According to Clippers PR, Blake Griffin and Milos Teodosic will make their return tonight when the LA Clippers take on the Sacramento Kings.

Are the basketball gods finally favoring the LA Clippers?

Just one night after the Clippers handled the Golden State Warriors in Oakland, the team’s PR announced via Twitter that Blake Griffin and Milos Teodosic will both return tonight when they take on the Sacramento Kings.

Griffin has missed the previous two games after he suffered a concussion in Saturday’s contest against the Warriors. Early in the first quarter, Griffin took an elbow from Golden State center JaVale McGee. Griffin immediately went down holding his head, hands quivering. He spent his time off coaching from the sideline.

Teodosic has been battling numerous foot injuries since the second game of the season. His latest injury occurred when he re-aggravated a plantar fascia issue in his left foot. In 13 games this season, he’s averaged 8.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 5.2 assists.

The return of two starters is an answered prayer for the Clippers, which have gone most of the year without a majority of them. Patrick Beverley and Danilo Gallinari have dealt with more serious injuries, while Austin Rivers and Griffin have had less time-consuming ones.

Currently, LA is sitting just one game behind the New Orleans Pelicans for the Western Conference’s 8th seed. With the return of two stars and a sizable lead over the 10th seed, the Clippers have put themselves in an excellent position.

Griffin will likely start tonight, but the same might not be able to be said about Teodosic. Head Coach Doc Rivers will consider restricting the guard’s minutes to avoid another re-aggravation.

The Clippers will face off against the Kings tonight in Sacramento at 7:00 PST. The Kings will visit LA on Saturday afternoon on NBA Jam Day.
