The Clippers will have to finish the rest of their game against the Warriors without star Blake Griffin.

The LA Clippers are down another player after starting the game without Milos Teodosic, Patrick Beverley, Danilo Gallinari and Austin Rivers.

Now, Blake Griffin will miss the remainder of the Clippers matchup with the Golden State Warriors. Griffin was diagnosed with a concussion after taking an elbow to the head by Javale McGee.

Griffin stayed on the floor in pain for several minutes before being helped to the locker room under his own strength. McGee was not given a foul on the play.

Props to Golden State’s Steph Curry for checking on Blake as soon as the ball was blown dead. These two teams have had bad blood over the last few seasons, so it’s great to see that they can still be brothers in moments like these.

Without Blake, Lou Williams will have to shoulder more of a scoring load. Look for DeAndre Jordan to also earn more touches. Wesley Johnson will likely get the start in the second half as Sam Dekker was already starting at the small forward position.

The team announced that Griffin will not return to Saturday’s contest and will go through the NBA’s concussion protocol. Check back with us for the latest updates on Blake’s condition. He may have to miss some games with such a scary head injury like that. We’ll continue to cover the game on Twitter, so follow along!

Get well soon Blake.
