Blake Griffin in midst of nasty custody battle
As Blake Griffin is finishing his touches of rehab, he is also in the midst of a nasty custody battle for his two kids.
According to hollywoodlife, Blake Griffin reportedly filed for paternity of his two children with ex-fiancé Brynn Cameron. Ford, their oldest son, is four and their daughter, Finley, is only one. When filing for paternity, that is the first real step one takes when fighting for custody of their children.
Despite the parents splitting in July 2017, they were still living together shortly after that. That was until Blake and his relationship with Kendall Jenner went public late August. The timing of these events are very crucial; Jenner clearly inspired Griffin to move on and gain custody of his kids.
However, Cameron has not been shy and is being open with her feelings about Blake’s relationship with Kendall Jenner. The Blast confirms that Cameron feels Griffin is pursuing a high-profile relationship with a star.
She naturally responded with her own counter documents seeking joint custody, and more importantly more child support. She is requesting that the child support is established by Griffin’s annual income. Which is convenient since he just landed a big pay check.
After recently signing a new five-year $173 million contract, that is exactly where this custody battle will get nasty. It is bound to happen that the parents will dispute the amount of custody and support.
Even though Blake has been sidelined since November 27, he has not kept from being busy. 2018 will be the start of a huge year for Blake, on and off the basketball court.
