If you haven’t heard by now, Doc Rivers stated that Blake Griffin could return as soon as within a week. As of November 28th, he was expected to miss up to two months, so this news naturally came across as “shocking.” Fans were finally getting used to watching the Clippers without their leader. This was especially disappointing to watch if you paid good money for tickets to the games. Luckily, Griffin will be back splashing three’s and posterizing defenders before we know it. Let’s not forget that much like the rest of the roster, Griffin has had a successful season as an individual. He is hitting a career-high 2/6 three’s a game, and the thing more impressive than his numbers has been his new comfort zone on the court; anywhere. With their $173 million-dollar team captain returning, playoffs hope is still alive for the LA Clippers.
