After receiving 50/50 positive and negative reactions from fans for being the Clippers’ official starting shooting guard, Rivers had a rollercoaster October. He was extremely streaky, and we expected more based on previous performances from him when he was put in the starting lineup. The ups and downs continued for Rivers in November, but something changed in December. Rivers’ confidence is soaring as he has had three 30-point games this month and set a new career-high in points twice, in back-to-back games. The “haters” are silenced, at least for the time being. Austin Rivers’ hot streak is a reason for Clippers fans to still hold onto hope for this team.
