NBA Superstar Blake Griffin posted some very encouraging news for all of LA Clippers’ fans to see.

Blake Griffin posted to his Instagram story him running on a treadmill which is great news. He is building strength into his knee and while it is only of the NBA superstar running, it does give a better idea he is coming back sooner than later.

Griffin injured his knee on November 28th during the LA Clipper win vs the Los Angeles Lakers. The sequence happened so quickly but seeing Austin Rivers land on his knee when three were going after the ball is unfortunate. Griffin has not played in a 82 game season since earlier in his career and while these are freak accidents it does put a hamper on the season but more importantly his body.

The Clippers have one of the worst hit line ups in the league and while Doc has been able to navigate through waters waiting for reinforcements to return, it hasn’t been easy. Doc is forever on the hot seat it appears but his coaching has helped eek out some wins while missing 4-5 potential starters.

Other Quick Updates

The Clippers are still without Patrick Beverley, but he is progressing as well and hoping for a playoff run by the Clippers so they make some noise in the post season.

Danilo Gallinari is still nursing his glute injury, and while it is the other glute, they do not feel it is as severe as his other, so we can turn the other cheek too.

Lou Williams and Wes Johnson missed last game, but those do not seem to be serious.

Austin Rivers did return after missing one game due to a concussion.

The Clippers will  have rested key players if they can stay above water waiting for the others to return. LA needs to hope they can snap this three game losing streak they are on. A good place to start is against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday December 20th.
