LA Clippers: Milos Teodosic to play tonight vs. Heat

LOS ANGELES, CA - DECEMBER 11: Milos Teodosic
LOS ANGELES, CA - DECEMBER 11: Milos Teodosic

After missing 23 games with a plantar fascia injury, Milos Teodosic will suit up Saturday night when the LA Clippers play vs. Miami.

It’s almost becoming a daily ritual. Waking up, having breakfast, and hearing of another Clippers injury. Yesterday, Doc Rivers said Milos Teodosic will be missing Friday’s game in Washington. However, it was only for precautionary reasons.

According to Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times, the Clippers don’t want to play Milos on back-to-back nights just yet.

The good news, though, is that Milos plans to play on Saturday night in Miami.

The Clippers are still undefeated when Milos plays, and have won the last two that he’s been back. In his two games back, Teodosic has 20 points, 13 rebounds, and seven assists. He also has one clutch three pointer as well.

With Milos playing, the Clippers will surely benefit on the offensive end. However, they may be without Austin Rivers, who missed last night’s game with a concussion. The good news though, is that Austin passed the concussion protocol, and shouldn’t miss significant time.

The Clippers will still be limited at guards, to say the least. They are down to only four guards — Teodosic, Jawun Evans, C.J. Williams, and Lou Williams. On top of that, the Clippers are also without Patrick Beverly, Danilo Gallinari, and Blake Griffin.

Injuries are a part of the game, and the Clippers have been able to adjust to each one, and give themselves a chance at a playoff spot. Luckily for the Clippers, they’ll be getting both starting guards back soon, and can hopefully continue their push towards a top-eight seed.

Tonight’s game is at 8 p.m. EST, and can be seen on Prime Ticket.
