2014 NBA Draft

Selections: C.J. Wilcox (28th)

Notable players still available: Nikola Jokic (41st), Jordan Clarkson (46th)

Doc makes another questionable call when he opts to draft C.J. Wilcox with the 28th overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft.

As was the situation with Bullock, Wilcox was immediately thrown into a logjam upon his arrival in LA. Stuck behind the eternally healthy J.J. Redick and Jamal Crawford in the rotation, Wilcox was never able to obtain substantial minutes.

Wilcox averaged just 2.5 points per game in his 2 seasons with the LA Clippers, an embarrassing number for one of the NCAA’s best shooters. It wasn’t entirely his fault, but Wilcox never should’ve been with the Clippers in the first place.
