How the LA Clippers should use their new $2.75M disabled player exception

The LA Clippers receive a disabled player exception, but where should they spend it?

LA Clippers guard Patrick Beverly underwent surgery on his right knee and was reported to miss the remainder of the 2017-2018 season.  Despite breaking the hearts of Clippers’ fans, in an already disappointing season, a silver lining emerged.  The league gave the team a consolation salary for the loss of one of the best defensive guards in the NBA.

This would mean the Clippers have enough to offer up a veteran minimum to an available free agent.  We took a look to see what’s out there and combined a couple intriguing options.
