According to the LA Clippers, Milos Teodosic and Danilo Gallinari will both begin their rehab assignments after being assigned to the G-League’s Agua Caliente Clippers.
Reinforcements are finally on the way guys! Both Danilo Gallinari and Milos Teodosic are set to make their first starts with the AC Clippers this Wednesday as they work to get back into game shape. Gallinari, who hasn’t played since November 5th, will likely have the shorter AC stint since he has missed fewer games and has the less serious injury, a strained left glute. Milos, on the other hand, may need a few more games to get his body back into game shape.
The pair’s impending return couldn’t come at a better time either. Since Blake Griffin went out after Austin Rivers was tripped into his knee, the Clippers have struggled mightily. Replacing Blake’s scoring and playmaking is a hard thing to do. The combination of Milos’s playmaking abilities and Gallinari’s scoring and spacing should be a big step towards filling in the holes left by Griffin.
With the pair’s return on the horizon but Blake Griffins return weeks away , we will have to wait a while to see what this squad can do when somewhat healthy.
One thing is for sure though, and that’s the fact that the ball movement will certainly be improve upon Milos’s return. The team is currently without a natural point guard, and team’s assist rate has taken a beating. Turnovers are up as well.
