Clippers vs Kings – Show up

The Clippers will need to do just one thing to take down the lowly Kings – simply take the floor in Sacramento.

The Kings are just about the worst at everything this season. They’ve got the league’s second-worst offense, third-worst defensive rating, and the average outcome of their games is a 13.5-point loss. Their roster is devoid of any star players or leaders, and their best player (arguably) is just 20 years old.

So long as the Clippers don’t suffer some sort of insurmountable collapse in the middle of this game, a win should be a lock. This game could be a great opportunity for some younger players to shine as well. Griffin, Jordan, and Rivers won’t need to play more than 30 minutes, paving the way for guys like Sindarius Thornwell, Brice Johnson, Sam Dekker, and Montrezl Harrell to receive more minutes.

All in all, the Clippers should cruise relatively easily to a few victories on the road. Obviously, no one expects them to win out, but if they show up with the right mindset and are willing to work, it’s certainly not out of the question.
