Losers of six straight, the LA Clippers will aim to get back on track during their five-game road trip.

If there’s one thing the LA Clippers have been able to accomplish this season, it’s beating lesser teams. Four of the team’s five wins have come against sub-.500 teams, with the lone exception being Portland. On the other hand, seven of their eight losses have come to teams that are at .500 or above; the lone exception there is Miami.

It’s good news, then, that the Clippers will play 3 teams with sub-.500 records (the Knicks are 8-6, but they should probably qualify as a 4th sub-.500 team) on their upcoming road trip. LA will visit Cleveland tonight, and will then take on the Hornets, Knicks, Hawks, and Kings.

It’s strange to say it, but this trip couldn’t have come at a better time for the team. As losers of eight of their last nine, the Clippers desperately need a win to get their confidence level soaring. What better way to do it than to smack down some of the East’s bottom feeders?

When the Clippers return to LA, they’ll be met by their hometown rivals. Preparation is vital for this next meeting, as the Lakers will likely be seeking to avenge their season-opening loss to the Clippers. Lob City may fly again if the team can fire off a few victories next week.

Let’s take a deeper look at their upcoming opponents and see how LA can start rolling again.
