Lou Williams had himself a game

From the early moments of the game, Williams was a man on a mission. He scored 14 points in the first half alone, including that previously mentioned half-court heave. By the end of the night, he had 35 points to go along with 7 rebounds.

It was the type of performance that we were used to seeing from Jamal Crawford over the years. When no one else would step up and take the game over, Crawford would throw up 30 points in a matter of minutes, without ever breaking a sweat. And if you don’t already know by now, that’s the kind of player that Williams is as well.

Late in the fourth, Williams single-handedly brought LA back from the grave, putting them in position to win. Down 91-102, Lou led a 14-3 run that tied the game at 105 apiece with just over 5 minutes to go. The Thunder answered with a run of their own and won the game, but the final score could’ve been much closer if not for Lou’s heroics.
