Sindarius Thornwell has impressed so far this season and seems to have earned the trust of Doc Rivers in the lineup. Thornwell has already played more career minutes than Clippers 2016 first round selection Brice Johnson. Rivers usually doesn’t give rookies much run on his teams, so it’s safe to say that second-rounder has left an impression on Doc. He hasn’t had to carry much of a load so far this season, but he seems up to the challenge of an increased role.
