Yowzers. Even if Beverley and Rivers are able to negate much of what Curry and Thompson bring offensively, the Clippers still have to deal with one of the best three players in the world. Gallinari typically struggles somewhat on the defensive side of the ball, and although he is on the tall end of the spectrum for a wing, he is going to have a difficult evening dealing with a 7-foot-tall 3 point sniper with handles. I mentioned before that the Warriors are a ‘pick your poison’ outfit. The Clippers may well have to focus on limiting Thompson and Curry and live with what Durant brings to the table. Although the Clippers have an offensive wing, they certainly miss the presence of a defensive presence like Luc Mbah a Moute to throw at the elite wings in the NBA.
