Tonight in LA the Clippers will attempt to defend their undefeated (4-0) record against the (3-2) Detroit Pistons. Here are some things you should be watching for during the game.

Tobias Harris may require special defensive attention.

Just three days ago, the 25-year-old dropped 34 points against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He is averaging 23.6 points on 52.2% shooting. The 6’9″ small forward is a threat driving to the paint as well as behind the arc. Due to Harris’ size and the Pistons’ lack of other offensive players, it is safe to assume his match up will be against Blake Griffin. Speaking of Blake Griffin…

How will Blake Griffin shine tonight?

Coming off of a buzzer beater in Portland and an MVP-like season thus far, fans naturally wonder what Griffin will do in tonight’s game. Not having to wait for plays from Chris Paul has been a blessing for Blake’s numbers (26.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 4.5 assists). He looks much more comfortable on the court now that he has had some time since his last as well as previous injuries. Doc Rivers wasn’t lying when he claimed Blake Griffin would breakout with his three-ball this season, as he is making 43.5% of them at this point in the season. Griffin is a completely reinvented superstar now, and you can look forward to a great game from him against Detroit.

How will DeAndre Jordan hang with Andre Drummond

Averaging 18.3 rebounds, Jordan is leading the league for boards per game. Drummond is a profound rebounder as well, formerly leading the league for boards for the entire 2013 and 2015 seasons. This All-Star match up will be one to watch. Jordan will have to be especially aware in the paint if he looks to out-grab Drummond.
