The LA Clippers took to a paintball field over the weekend.

The regular season is almost here. In just a few days, the LA Clippers will take the court against the Los Angeles Lakers for their season opener. However, over the weekend, the team had one more bonding session before they had to get down to business: A paintball game.

From the tweet above, you can see that most of the team attended the event. The team really looks to be enjoying each others’ company and hanging out together.

It’s hard to tell who was doing what, since they are all masked, but it’s obvious the guys had fun. After spending a bunch of time in Hawaii together and now this, they may be one of the more tight knit teams we’ve seen in recent Clippers’ history. This can do wonders for the team on the court as their chemistry may form faster than expected, especially for a team with a ton of new pieces coming together.

Now, there’s no indication if this was something planned by the team as a group or if one player initiated the team building exercise, but we’d like to think it’s the latter. With the departure of Chris Paul, both DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin have to step up and be leaders for the team.

Whoever set it up is on the right track to bring the group together and work as a unit. We can’t wait to see what this will translate to on the court.
