Tyrone Williams wants that second two-way contract
Up until this point, none of the players that LA brought in for training camp and preseason looked like they were deserving of the Clippers’ second two-way contract. Up until the Kings game, Tyrone Wallace had only played 14 minutes and only scored 1 point during his time on the floor. Wallace got into the game early against the Kings and came out aggressive, earning increased playing time from Doc Rivers. The guard finished with 16 points and 5 rebounds while shooting six of nine from the floor and wowing the Clippers’ crowd with some fantastic plays. Wallace played hard on both ends of the floor and will likely get increased runtime in the Clippers’ final preseason game against the Lakers so that the coaching staff can get one last look at the guard’s game.
PS: Happy Birthday to Doc Rivers!
