Winners and losers of the LA Clippers’ preseason loss

Winner: Blake Griffin

Our first winner of the night is none other than Mr. Clipper himself. Even though he swears this isn’t “his team”, Griffin sure looked the part last night. He led the way with a game-high 18 points in just 20 minutes of play. He connected on his first 2 three-point attempts as well, which is a great sign of his progression.

He looked especially well though, considering that he just broke his toe back in April. Initial reports stated that Griffin could be out until December, so seeing Blake at full strength this early is a sign of what’s in store.

Griffin looked dominant from mid-range and around the rim as well, scoring 8 of his 18 points in those areas.
