Fantasy season – Making the case for picking Clippers
By Toby James
DeAndre Jordan
DeAndre is another Clipper with a case ready made for himself. He has set the pace for shooting efficiency for the last 5 years and is a candidate for pulling down 15-20 rebounds on any given night. He was a 13 and 14 player last year without turning the ball over at a high rate and blocking 2 shots per contest, as well as being a positive in terms of on/off numbers.
Although he is a rather one-dimensional player, and without Chris Paul delivering the ball to him under (or over) the basket, I would still suggest prioritizing DeAndre highly among Centers. With the first 3-4 rounds of fantasy drafts depending on league size typically dedicated to franchise guards and wings, I’ll be hoping Jordan is on the board somewhere in that range.
