Blake Griffin
Let’s start at the top. Griffin does have injury concerns stemming from his playoff-ending malady, although fears that he may not return until December have been largely assuaged. Assuming reports are true and he will be active for training camp, I’d expect him to go in the top 20 in most drafts. You’d be forgiven for dropping him down your big board in response to his recent injury history, but he’ll be in the top 15 on mine. Let me tell you why.
Scott Rafferty at Sporting News breaks all of this down, but the crux of the matter is that Blake was good without Chris Paul on the floor. I mean, really good.
Fantasy gold. Efficiency combined with flat out production. Sleep on him if you want. Let him slide out of the top few rounds if you must. But I’ll take Blake and live with any potential consequences.
