NBA 2k18 Prelude Released Today

NBA 2k18 is giving us a little taste with The Prelude releasing today. Are you ready to become the LA Clippers’ next star?

NBA 2k18 is giving gamers around the world a chance to try their game a week early with the release of The Prelude today, September 8th. Although the full game doesn’t come out until September 19th (you can get early access on the 15th if you pre-ordered), players can download this trial and get their MyCareer started. There’s no better way to start gearing up for your spot on the LA Clippers.

Obviously, the big draw here is having that head start for when the game comes out. You can knock out all the tedious things, such as getting your face scan done. (I mean, I still don’t have my scan completely right in last year’s game) The Prelude will also allow you to explore the Playground, 2k’s new interactive area. Players can run around and interact with activities.

From live streams of the game, players will start off by building their player, selecting a team (presumably to play for later) and then jumping into The Proving Ground, where they will be playing to earn a shot with an NBA team.
