DeAndre Jordan – Hit
Rating: 87
Finally, DJ gets the respect he deserves. Without question, Jordan is one of the NBA’s top defenders, and has been waiting in line a long time to receive this kind of attention. The timing is just right, too. DJ will have to take on a larger role on both ends of the floor this season, with emphasis on the offensive. And while the casual fan may think that he’ll struggle without Chris Paul throwing him lobs, we know too well. In fact, we can probably expect to see Jordan improve his scoring average this season. It’s also likely that he’ll continue to produce at an extremely high rate, even once he introduces his midrange game. We’ve got a lot to be excited about this year, folks.
