Sindarius Thornwell – Miss

Rating: 69

I get that most of the late-round rookies got slapped with a 68-70 overall, and that’s fine. I get that. But like, Thornwell could end up being the Malcolm Brogdon of this year’s draft class, and I personally feel like a 70 is a more appropriate rating – especially after we watched him torch opponents in the Summer League. He’s got all the intangibles that most rookies lack – leadership, strength, and experience – and potential that would make any NBA scout drool. It’s no wonder that he’s been drawing comparisons to Draymond Green ever since draft night, and it’s also no coincidence. The two have similar games, college numbers, and draft positions. A prospect like Thornwell is worthy of a 70.
