Wesley Johnson – Hit

Rating: 71

Wesley Johnson was one of two Clippers whose rating decreased from this season to last, and for good reason. Statistically speaking, Johnson had the worst year of his career, as he put up a miniscule 2.7 points in 12 minutes per game. And I don’t want to say that Johnson is a bad player, but it’s time we all accept that he’ll never be the player he was anticipated to be when he was taken 4th overall in the 2010 NBA Draft. He’s still a solid role player who can hit a few threes when you need him to, but that’s about it. The 71 overall rating is spot on, but I, like everyone else, am hoping that he can do something to prove that he’s still worthy of a contract in today’s NBA. Deep down, I think we all kind of like Wesley Johnson. Deep down.
