With the release of NBA 2k18 right around the corner, here are the LA Clippers’ player ratings that have been revealed so far.

Brice Johnson

First up, we have 2nd year player Brice Johnson.

Despite being a first round pick last year, Brice only saw the floor in a handful of games during his rookie campaign. This was due to a back injury, which required surgery early on in the season. However, Brice seemed fully recovered this summer, where he played extremely well. Hopefully this is a good sign for things to come and Brice can redeem himself in his sophomore year.

Jawun Evans

Not much to say here. The rookie seemed alright during summer league, but he’s coming into the league without a lot of expectations. That white jersey does look pretty nice though.

Patrick Beverly

Pissed off is right. You’re telling me after the season he had last year, Bev is only 1 rating point better than Derrick Rose!? The guy made All-Defensive 1st team. Shouldn’t he be eligible for something at least in the 80s? 2k’s rating system is hard to understand and only those who make it fully do get it. When a player like Kyrie Irving is an offensive stud, yet lacks defense and gets a 90, how does Bev only get a 79? You would think his elite level defense would make him a little higher. Oh well. The good thing about 2k is that ratings fluctuate, so don’t expect his low overall to stay put. We’ll keep you updated as 2k releases the rest of the LA Clippers’ ratings leading up to the game’s release.
