November 7
Clippers at Spurs
I’d love to give the Clippers a decent shot at winning this game, but I can’t. The Spurs have been one of the best home teams in the NBA for what seems like forever, and LA simply doesn’t have the star power to take them down in San Antonio. Not to mention that Kawhi Leonard is likely the best two-way player in the world, and that the Spurs haven’t had a season in which they won less than 50 games since 1996, with the exception of the lockout-shortened ’98-’99 season. Sigh. These games just won’t be the same without Chris Paul.
