The Clippers will kick off the month with a home stand against DeAndre Jordan‘s old team, the Dallas Mavericks. Although the Mavs added talent by selecting Dennis Smith Jr. in the first round of the draft, they’re still humming to the tune of old Dirk Nowitzki and most likely will not be a playoff team this season. That being said, Dallas has proven scorers at every starting position and a solid bench rotation that includes Seth Curry, Dwight Powell, and J.J. Barea. However, the new-and-improved Clippers frontcourt and bench rotation should guide them to an easy victory over the undermanned Mavericks.
