Recently, the LA Clippers social media pages have been posting mysterious pictures with messages coded through Nautical signal flags. Now, it appears as if the messages have been decoded.

We could be wrong, however we do have evidence to prove that some sort of blue uniforms will be worn by the LA Clippers when the 2017-2018 season starts. Here is the original post that started all the guessing fun:

The Nike involvement is a clear sign that this promotion has something to do with our new uniforms, which haven’t been released yet. Most people caught onto that part when this image was posted. The sneaky part of the image is the flags presence in the background. They are known as Nautical signal flags, and can be seen on our old nautical uniforms’ shorts. The flags in this tweet actually spell out “LAC”.

Then, yesterday, the team sent out the following tweet:

Our writer, Garrett Chorpenning, seems to have figured out the code. Using the logic that the flags must spell out something, he looked up maritime signal flag meaning. The conclusion? We’re getting blue uniforms again. If you look at the meaning of each flag here, you can see that the middle two rows spell something when reading vertically:

“BLUE BACK”

We have to assume that this is right, especially with individuals related to the organization liking any tweets that make the same inference that Garrett did. So, LA Clippers fans, get ready! It looks like the Clips will be revealing some blue jerseys tomorrow!
