The LA Clippers’ preseason schedule features two games in Hawai’i against the Toronto Raptors followed by three homes games at the Staples Center in LA.

The LA Clippers preseason schedule for the 2017 NBA season, a total of five games, has been released.

The team’s first two games will be played in Honolulu, Hawai’i at the Stan Sheriff Center. Both games in Hawai’i are set to be against the Toronto Raptors and are on October 1st and 3rd at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. respectively. The remaining three games of the preseason will all be home games for the Clippers, held at the Staples Center. The Clippers will face the Portland Trail Blazers on October 8th, the Sacremento Kings on the 12th, and end the preseason against their LA rival, the Los Angeles Lakers, on the 10th.

During the 2017 NBA Africa Game, Doris Burke suggested that the NBA Regular Season schedule should be released sometime within the week.

ESPN’s Brian Windhorst also said that the regular season schedule should be finalized in an article about the scheduling changes that the league has made for this season. Here are a few of the notable changes that the NBA has made for the upcoming season.

"• Eliminating stretches of four games in five days and 18 games in 30 days.• Reduction of five games in seven nights to just 40 instances across (1.3 per team), down from last year when it was on the schedule 90 times (three per team).• Reduction in number of back-to-backs to 14.9 per team, down from 16.3 per team. In all, 40 back-to-backs have been eliminated from last season.• Reduction of single-game road trips by 17 percent.• Reduction in single-game road trips over 2,000 miles by 67 percent; there are only 11 of them on schedule.• Increase in weekend games from 549 to 568, much of the boost coming on Saturdays."

This week should end up being an exciting one for LA Clippers fans with the regular season schedule being released and the upcoming jersey reveal on August 11th.
