Pray for health and one voice

The last two seasons are throw aways. The Clippers and Blake have been dealt with the injury bug, and now with Chris Paul in Houston, it leaves Griffin and DeAndre Jordan. DeAndre has been healthy, but we all know what happens with Blake.

Pray for health for not only Griffin, but also Danilo Gallinari who recently injured his thumb punching an opposing player. While both players rehab, fans will need to hope and pray these are the only injuries the team suffers this season. If they both can play 70+ games, that should be considered a success, especially after the last couple of seasons.

The Clippers under Blake will not be a one person show, but they will need Griffin to reach his peak if they ever want to have a chance of making it to the Finals. At 28 years old, Griffin is right in his prime and will need to show more in this next contract than he’s shown in his last two.

Do not expect Griffin to slide and fill the void Chris Paul’s huge voice, but expect Griffin to lead by his work ethic and by doing anything and everything he should be doing as a superstar player trying to win his first title.
