The 2017-2018 season is fast approaching, and it’s time we take a look at how the LA Clippers’ new additions and familiar faces will fare.

The LA Clippers entered the offseason with uncertainty. Would they retain their superstar point guard, Chris Paul? Or, would re-signing the younger, more athletic Blake Griffin be the better choice?

Luckily for the organization, there was no decision to make, at least, not technically. Paul didn’t want to be a Clipper anymore, and ended up in Houston thanks to a sign-and-trade deal. In return, LA got 7 new players and a first round pick. Therefore, all the LA Clippers had to do was bring Griffin back. And they did so. And that was that.

Now here we are at the end of July, and the 15-man roster is essentially completed. Here’s a quick look at a potential depth chart:

  • Point Guard: Beverly – Teodosic – Evans
  • Shooting Guard: Rivers – Williams – Thornwell
  • Small Forward: Gallinari – Dekker – W. Johnson – Wilson
  • Power Forward: Griffin – Harrell – B. Johnson
  • Center: Jordan – Reed

The stats predicted in this post are based on the chart above. While other variations are certainly possible, the general consensus is that those are the rotations we’ll see once the season begins. However, nothing is final, and developments following training camp and preseason could certainly change things up. This is simply speculation, however each player has been carefully researched, and their predicted stats are based on progression, rotation, and prior seasons.

Without further ado, let’s get into it.
