With Summer League over, it looks like LA Clippers’ coach Doc Rivers is back in LA and hanging out with Larry David and Howie Mandel.

Doc Rivers, Larry David and Howie Mandel walk out of a bar. Weird group to see together, huh? Well, the trio was seen by TMZ leaving a restaurant. While waiting at the valet, Rivers and David made fun of Howie Mandel not wanting to shake hands. You can see this interaction in the video linked.

Howie Mandel is a noted mysophobe, so he has good reason to not want to shake hands. However, Larry David and Doc don’t seem to think so. Mandel doesn’t seem to be bothered by it though and laughs right along with them.

Howie Mandel can be seen judging contestants on ‘America’s Got Talent’. Larry David has recently been in the spotlight for his portrayal of presidential candidate, Bernie Sanders. He also is getting ready to release the most recent season of his HBO hit, Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Coach Doc Rivers will have to find a way to bring together his multiple new players as the LA Clippers hope to make a big playoff push yet again this season. He, along with help from Jerry West, managed to turn Chris Paul into a slew of players and brought in both Danilo Gallinari and Milos Teodosic.

There’s not real indication on why the group got together for dinner, but perhaps Larry David was hoping to get the other two onto one of his episodes of Curb. Larry David is no stranger to having athletes on his shows. One of the more notable appearances on Curb was Shaq, who Larry (in true Larry fashion) tripped and injured. We’ll have to just wait until October to see if Doc does in fact show up.
