During last night’s presentation of the ESPY’s, LA Clippers center, DeAndre Jordan, brought laughter to the audience.

It was a big night of laughs and touching moments in Los Angeles for the 25th presentation of the ESPY’s. Although most of the laughs came from host Peyton Manning (I’m still laughing at his Kevin Durant joke), LA Clippers’ center DeAndre Jordan brought some of his own humor in an awkward moment.

First off, DeAndre recognized that his fashion choice might be a little questionable. Sure, he rocked it, but it’s not a choice most would make, especially for presenting at an award ceremony. Making up the excuse that it was due to LA’s heat (even though it was only 82 yesterday) was a comical and smart move.

As you can see, somehow no one thought to tell DJ how to adjust the mic, nor did they think that maybe there should be an extra tall mic out there for any NBA players that may have to come up to the stage. They could have even just given DJ a wired mic to put on his suit.

However, in true DeAndre Jordan fashion though, he made the best out of the situation and improvised. He finished his presentation hunched over while making the audience laugh the whole time. Maybe this moment will help DJ to get some more acting gigs this year, especially since I don’t see him appearing alongside Chris Paul for State Farm now that CP3 is down in Houston.
