  1. I disagree with Jasmine. Yes, Doc has a history of not playing rookies, but with the Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario (I don’t think I’ll ever get used to typing that mouthful) starting up, buying a pick and grabbing someone rough around the edges makes sense. Hopefully the team could work with the players and actually grow some prospects
  2. I’d just go ahead and buy a pick. With so much uncertainty in the franchise, I’d only make a blockbuster trade if you are 100% sold on like a top 5 guy and can convince the other team to give that pick up. Sure, it would involve moving DJ, but if the team is sure both CP3 and Blake aren’t coming back, they may as well look towards the future.
  3. In an ideal world, we could get Luke Kennard and keep Chris and Blake. Luke is pretty much the same player as J.J., but can also put the ball on the floor some and still score. He’d fit well among the group as constructed last year and has the potential to be a solid player for years to come. However, he’s a late lottery guy, so there is zero hope on my end that this could ever happen.
