#3 – Clippers vs Pelicans 12/10/16

Outcome:

Clippers win 133-105

Recap:

How exciting could a game between these two teams be if both Blake Griffin and Anthony Davis are sidelined? Well good thing Chris Paul exists. The Point God blessed us with 20 points, 20 assists, and no turnovers. This was the first time in NBA history it’s ever been done since 1977-78, when turnovers were first recorded. (Data courtesy to Elias Sports Bureau). And it’s the first 20 assist, 0 turnover game since Rickey Green in 1984.

To top things off, this all happened in 3 quarters of gameplay. The Clippers had the game blown open by the 4th quarter, and the entire team played well. Each player had a positive +/-.

Key stats:

Chris Paul – 20 points, 20 assists, 0 turnovers

Mo Speights – 17 points, 12 rebounds

Jamal Crawford – 22 points
