#4 – Clippers vs Trailblazers 12/12/16

Outcome:

Clippers win 121-120

Recap:

By this point, the Clippers had grown tired of the Blazers. This was their fourth and final game against each other within two months (including preseason). And if you recall, they played each other in the playoffs several months earlier. However, the Clippers winning all 4 of their most recent games sent the message of who the better team is.

Their last meeting was a hard fought game, full of blood, sweat, and probably even tears. There were 12 ties and 12 lead changes in this competitive matchup. The Clippers bested the Blazers thanks to the hustle and muscle of Blake and the clutch play of CP3.

Key stats:

Blake Griffin – 26 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists, a busted lip, a cut eye

Chris Paul – 21 points, 14 assists, 5 rebounds

Best moment:

DeAndre unleashed his inner petty and put his finger in Evan Turner‘s face.
