Jalen Rose has put LA Clippers fans on high alert by saying that LeBron James could move to California before he retires.

While appearing on ESPN’s First Take on Tuesday, Jalen Rose said that he doesn’t think that LeBron James will end his career in Cleveland. His reasoning for this prediction is that the Cavaliers have already peaked and James does not think that he can improve them any further.

"“Don’t be surprised if King James … ends up somewhere in California eventually before he retires,” Rose said about LeBron’s future."

Now there are four teams in the state of California. But, there’s no way James is moving to Sacramento. Golden State can also be ruled out due to their recent rivalry. While joining the Lakers would be an interesting move for him, the LA Clippers are the most likely destination for King James if he decides to move to California.

Rose believes that James as well as possibly Carmelo Anthony could move to the Clips and form the next “super team” along with Chris Paul if he chooses to stay. LeBron James already owns a house in LA, so a move might not be out of the question. Plus, think of all the banana boating the group could do on the West Coast! It would take some financial miracles for the LA Clippers to pull this off, but the players involved could just take pay cuts.

One thing that could stop him from leaving the Cavaliers for the second time could be the fan backlash. Cleveland fans did not take so kindly to his move to the Miami Heat in 2010. However the 3-time NBA Champion will feel that he has now fulfilled his obligation to the Cavaliers by winning a Championship last season.

So don’t be surprised if the third edition of The Decision is to announce a move to the LA Clippers.
