Apparently the LA Clippers’ DeAndre Jordan has developed some sort of ‘bro-mance’ with Jimmy Butler of the Chicago Bulls.
Ever since last summer’s Olympics, Jimmy Butler and DeAndre Jordan have been exchanging hate on social media.
Butler and Jordan’s taunt war continued with another Instagram post, this time on Jimmy Butler’s account. Per Bleacher Report, the photo shown underneath, captioned with “haircut needed”, struck lots of attention from the media and other NBA players. DeAndre interruped the comment section adding his two cents, then Butler responds with his low blow.
"DJ: “Badly, I’ll even pay for it.”JB: “I expected it from you so I can’t even be mad. But i never liked you anyway I was acting the whole time. Dumbass.”"
Jordan’s last words centered around that we was “going to win this war.” However, is it really just a ‘friendly war’. Also, what does this say of their potential chemistry on and off the court? Sure, they have played together before for Team USA during the Olympics, but that is a roster full of stars. Playing on a competing team in the NBA for 82 to 98 games year is more difficult.
Maybe Doc could look to preform a sign and trade for Butler, should Chicago make him available. This however, doesn’t seem likely, especially with rumors that Chicago turned down a haul from the Celtics right before the trade deadline this season.
