Prior to Game 1 of the NBA Finals, Jimmy Kimmel Live had their first pregame entry of the year. Both Doc Rivers and DeAndre Jordan of the LA Clippers were subjects of Mean Tweets.

One of the best parts of the NBA Finals (aside from the actual games) is Jimmy Kimmel’s pregame shows. The best highlight? Mean Tweets. For those of you unfamiliar with the segment, Kimmel’s staff combs through Twitter and finds some of the meanest tweets they can about celebrities and athletes. Then, the athletes read these tweets about themselves while being recorded. Most of the time, the tweets, while mean are pretty hilarious.

No one is safe and in years past, LA Clippers’ DeAndre Jordan, Blake Griffin and Chris Paul have all been subjects of these Mean Tweets. This year though, only DJ and Doc Rivers had the honor of being featured.

First up was DeAndre. The tweet about him seemed to answer a question that no one in the league has been able to yet.

DJ seemed to love this tweet as he falls over in laughter. Next up was Doc Rivers.

Doc’s reaction seemed a little more forced as he just wrinkled his head back and forth. Doc’s haircut is questionable though. Just shave it at his point man.

Some other notable tweets included references to Caron Butler being on the same level as Hitler (he thought this was harsh), Magic Johnson being an idol for stupid people around the world, Joel Embiid being as smart as a squirrel and Michelle Beadle never washing her hair.

We still have at least three more games worth of Jimmy Kimmel to look forward to, so hopefully more LA Clippers will pop up and we can laugh along with them. Until then, keep checking back here at Clipperholics for all your Clippers news and updates!
