Many questions surround the LA Clippers as free agency looms and rumors swirl about the futures of Blake Griffin, J.J. Redick and Chris Paul. With little cap space and no draft picks, the Clippers should explore the potential in the youth they already have.

The LA Clippers have been under a microscope since their game seven loss to the Utah Jazz in the opening round of this year’s playoffs.

With both Chris Paul and Blake Griffin possessing the ability to opt-out of their contracts and explore various NBA cities and potentially leave Los Angeles, the Clippers are in danger of losing the best two players their franchise has ever seen. While that scenario is unlikely, it has fans and analysts buzzing over the Clips and their potential roster changes.

There are however, a few young prospects that remain under contract for the Clippers that many have seemingly forgotten or overlooked. These guys aren’t making it on anyone’s All NBA team, but they have the potential to develop into the valuable role players that the Clippers are desperately lacking. And with no picks in this year’s draft, head coach Doc Rivers should do his best to develop these young assets for either important minutes off the bench or trade bait.
