While the Conference Finals go on, TMZ caught up with the LA Clippers’ DeAndre Jordan and asked him his thoughts on rumors surrounding his team.

DeAndre Jordan just made his second consecutive All-NBA team and won a gold medal with Team USA last summer in Brazil. However, the big man and the LA Clippers had yet another early exit in the playoffs after falling in seven games to the Utah Jazz.

TMZ managed to catch DJ, apparently leaving a cycling class and tried their best to get a reaction.
The main focus of the question centers around the Clippers’ superstar free agent, Blake Griffin. Last week, former Clipper Jared Dudley said that the team needs to look to trade one of the big three. After a moment of consideration, Dudley decides that Blake Griffin would be the one to move on from. He says the team could get back “about 2 or 3 role players and a pick.”

In the above video, the TMZ reporter gives DJ props on a great season and tries to figure out what DeAndre is doing in Malibu. (Um, whatever he wants?) The reporter then asks DeAndre what he thinks about the idea that the Clippers should trade Blake. Keep in mind, Blake is one of DJ’s best friends. DeAndre just kind of stares at the reporter smiling before closing the door.

DeAndre obviously doesn’t want the Clippers to move on from Blake, whether it be letting him walk in free agency, or signing him only to trade him during the year. DJ and Blake have a very close bond and Blake was a big part of the group that convinced DJ to stay in Los Angeles during the whole Dallas “hostage” situation. Perhaps DJ wanting Blake to stay could have some weight with management, who have already indicated that they want to try their best to keep the superstar power forward.
