Poor Offensive Ability

No one can really explain what’s going on with J.J. Redick. His shots just aren’t falling like they used to, and there appears to be no reason why.

Compiled for you here is a list of J.J.’s individual performances over the course of the series:

  • G1: 7 points, 2 assists, 1 rebound, 3/6 FG, 1/3 3PT (27 minutes)
  • G2: 4 points, 2 assists, 2 rebounds, 2/7 FG, 0/2 3PT (32 minutes)
  • G3: 8 points, 0 assists, 3 rebounds, 2/5 FG, 1/3 3PT (27 minutes)
  • G4: 12 points, 0 assists, 0 rebounds, 3/11 FG, 2/7 3PT (41 minutes)

Not exactly ideal, is it?

This goes along with a below-average shooting night from the LA starters, who shot a combined 21/56, or 37.5%, from the field in Game 4. Chris Paul‘s near triple-double (27/12/9) and Jamal Crawford‘s 25 points simply weren’t enough against the NBA’s best defense.
