Clippers Attacked the Paint
Griffin and Jordan found the rim like someone forgot to cover them. It was aggressiveness that they did not have in the first outing. After the first quarter, it looked like the Jazz were going to be in for a long night.
Blake Griffin explained post game how important it was to be aggressive.
"”Our spirit was great, and I think it just carried over into the first quarter, with everybody being aggressive.”"
LA scored 60 points in the paint compared to the Jazz’s 38. Bench players, including Mo Speights, were also able to attack the paint.
Although Blake was able to knock down a couple of threes, including a much needed one in the last two minutes, he seemed determined to attack the rim. Griffin is showing his range but has not forgotten what made him a house hold name.
