Chris Paul‘s Scoring

Man oh man, is Point God special.

Just one game after his first 30-piece of the season, Paul again went off, scoring 33 against the Jazz. What’s craziest about that? 16 of them came in the first quarter.

Paul finished the game with 33 points, 7 assists, and 6 rebounds on 11/21 shooting. The volume of shots he took was especially high, but it’s obviously a good sign that he connected on more than 50% of them. He was also 5/11 from deep, where he’s been especially lethal lately. Paul hit 4/4 from beyond the arc against Philly, as well as 3/6 versus Memphis. That’s 12/21 (57%) over the last three.

If CP3 can keep shooting the 3 this efficiently, it could prove to be the x-factor in a playoff run.
