Anthony Davis caps record night with new star teammate.

Anthony Davis scored 52 points breaking an All-Star game high record of points held by Wilt Chamberlain (42 pts), along with the MVP.

Staring in his fourth All-Star game and second time hosting an All-Star Game in his town of New Orleans, Davis took off in the fourth to secure his record-setting 52 points and 10 assists. He took home the night’s Most Valuable Player award.

Davis and the Pelicans are 11 games under .500, but just added another superstar who comes from a team that is 10 games under .500. The Kings traded their super-star center DeMarcus Cousins for Buddy Hield, Tyreke Evans, Langston Galloway and both a 2017 first and second-round pick.

It will be really interesting where the Pelicans go from here.
