DeAndre Jordan Takes Flight

DeAndre Jordan was selected by the Western Conference coaches as a reserve. It’s taken years for Jordan to finally get the recognition he deserves in a league that does not appreciate a player built on defense. Jordan came in at the beginning of the second and his presence was felt within the first two minutes.

Looking a little tight entering in the second quarter, Jordan took flight and dropped some of the most memorable highlights of the night.

The numbers might not jump off the sheet for most people, (6 points, and 3 rebounds in 13 minutes) but for his first All-Star Game it wasn’t bad.

Russell Westbrook found Jordan off the backboard for a thunderous dunk. He should have used that dunk in the Dunk Contest.
