A Much Needed Break

Yes, the Clippers are getting back to their winning ways. However, it’s no secret that the All-Star break is needed.

LA is in the midst of the NBA’s most difficult month, loaded with games against top-tier teams. For the most part, they’ve fared well – especially in the absence of their star. A break of this magnitude will give them the rest they deserve, and will speed along CP’s recovery process.

Paul is expected to be sidelined until early-to-mid March, and it’s likely that Doc exercises some sort of limit on his minutes when he returns. Unfortunately for the Clippers, it doesn’t appear that the month of March will be any easier on them.

They’ll kick off the month with a home matchup against the Houston Rockets, followed by a back-to-back at Milwaukee and Chicago. LA will also visit Memphis, Utah, Denver, and Dallas. They’ll host Cleveland, Boston, Utah, and the red-hot Washington Wizards later in the month.
