  • Money’s on John Wall. He has the perfect balance of handles, insane speed and pinpoint passing. The 3-point shooting might hold him up a little but I like his chances.
  • My mind is telling me Kyrie Irving, but my heart is saying “back Swaggy P until the very end”
  • This is where it gets interesting for me. As a completely biased Clippers fan, I want DJ to take it home. But I’ve watched the Zach LaVine vs Aaron Gordon dunk-off more times than I could count and you’d be crazy not to pick Gordon. On the other hand, I am a little crazy, and my pick to win is Derrick Jones JR.
  • Devin Booker goes for 50 points, breaks the Rising Stars scoring record and wins the MVP. Exactly 2 years prior to him being named the 2019 NBA Most Valuable Player.
  • I’m gonna go with Kyrie Irving if the East wins, and Westbrook if the West wins.

No. I actually don’t want to see this. What pleasure would anyone get from seeing Westbrook stuck in the middle of 3 players that caused him absolute heartbreak and misery in the playoffs last year. With the one other being his friend, and brother that he spent 8 years growing up alongside who left only a few months ago. IF this does actually happen though. I picture a steal, everyone running up the court. A four on one fastbreak, Curry and Thompson stretch out to the corners, Draymond and Durant trailing Wesbrook waiting to catch a perfect lob pass. And Westbrook just completely ignoring them for a solo layup. The ultimate anti-climax.
